UKSOL becomes first Plug-In Solar kit provider listed on ENA Connect Direct Register

British solar company UKSOL has become the first complete Plug-In Solar kit provider to gain a compliance listing on the Energy Networks Association’s Connect Direct Type Test Register.

The milestone confirms that UKSOL’s Plug-In Solar Pro kits meet the relevant technical requirements for connection to Great Britain’s electricity distribution networks.

UKSOL’s professionally engineered kits combine UKSOL solar modules, an ENA-compliant 800VA microinverter, purpose-designed mounting systems, and British-based warranty and customer support. Sheffield-manufactured options will also be available.

Andrew Moore, CEO of UKSOL, said:

“This is an important milestone for UKSOL and for the introduction of safe, accessible Plug-In Solar in the UK. We are extremely proud to be the first complete kit provider to achieve this compliance listing.”

Further information will be announced shortly.
