UKSOL CEO Meets Shadow Minister for Energy & Net Zero at the House of Lords
This Monday, Andrew Moore (Founder of UKSOL Ltd.) met with Lord Offord, Shadow Minister for Energy and Net Zero, at the House of Lords to discuss UKSOL’s export success and its role in the UK’s clean energy future.
The meeting focused on the importance of supporting British solar SMEs, reducing reliance on Asia-based supply multinationals, and building ethical, resilient supply chains. Andrew Moore highlighted UKSOL’s commitment to audited manufacturing, transparent sourcing, and delivering high-efficiency solar modules to over 50 countries.
“It was a constructive conversation,” said UKSOL’s Founder. “British clean energy must be secure, ethical, and globally competitive.”
The discussion also referenced Lord Offord’s 2024 visit to Bolivia, where UKSOL modules powered one of the country’s largest British-backed private solar projects.
UKSOL, a UK Government Export Champion, continues to champion British innovation in global solar markets and welcomes cross-party dialogue on energy and industrial strategy.
