Senior Business Development Manager (UK)

We’re seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead and expand UKSOL’s commercial presence across the UK.
You’ll build strategic relationships with installers, EPCs, and distributors, driving growth across solar energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Inside Salesperson (remote)

About the Role

As an Inside Salesperson at UKSOL, you will play a key role in building relationships with distributors, installers, and business customers across international markets. You will handle inbound inquiries, conduct outbound prospecting, prepare quotations, and support the sales pipeline — all from your home office.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident, organised, and eager to help expand a respected renewable energy brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound sales enquiries from global customers and partners

  • Conduct outbound calls and emails to identify new sales opportunities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and installers

  • Prepare sales quotations, proposals, and product information

  • Update CRM systems and maintain accurate sales records

  • Coordinate with internal teams for order processing and customer support

  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

Requirements

  • Experience in inside sales, telesales, or customer relationship management

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Comfortable conducting sales work via phone, email, and online platforms

  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule

  • Previous experience in solar, renewable energy, or technical sales (preferred but not required)

  • Reliable internet connection and home office setup
