Under the ECO4 scheme, UKSOL’s Innovation Measure solar panel can qualify for either a 25% or 45% funding uplift, depending on system configuration.
To unlock the full 45% uplift, systems must include the Tigo Cloud Connect unit, allowing real-time monitoring by the property owner. This not only supports long-term performance tracking but also meets Ofgem’s technical requirements under Innovation Measure approval IM022.
If the property lacks internet access—or if the owner (such as a landlord) requires direct monitoring—it’s mandatory to include a data SIM with 10 years of free data. This ensures continuous connectivity to the Tigo platform, satisfying the measure’s remote monitoring stipulation.
In contrast, systems that don’t meet these criteria still qualify—but only for the 25% uplift.
