UKSOL Case Studies
From university rooftops in Vietnam to eco-friendly car washes villages in Bolivia, UKSOL’s solar panels are powering a sustainable future across the globe. These international case studies showcase our commitment to ethical solar, engineered reliability, and long-term energy solutions—wherever the sun shines.
Real projects. Real impact.
Santa Cruz, Bolivia
3.039MwP
Bolpegas, in partnership with UKSOL, has delivered Bolivia’s largest private solar PV plant—a 3.039MWp installation for Frigorífico BFC in Santa Cruz—marking a milestone in the country’s industrial energy transition and showcasing the impact of high-performance British solar technology combined with skilled local engineering.
Metro Manila, The Philippines
2.1mW
UKSOL supplied over 6500 UKSOL 320wp solar PV modules, inverters and the rooftop mounting system for a 2.1MW solar PV project for a factory in Metro Manila, Philippines. One of the largest solar PV rooftop projects in Manilait was financed by the Philippines Business Bank.
Denbighshire County Council
Multiple properties of 3kW each
Warm Front Ltd installed UKSOL solar and insulation upgrades in Denbighshire to reduce heating costs for elderly residents using air source heat pumps, funded through ECO4, ORP, and council support.
Wrenbury, Cheshire
Multiple properties of 3kW each
UKSOL’s 435W modules were installed on electric-heated sheltered homes in Wrenbury, boosting EPC ratings using ECO4 and SHDF Wave 2.1 funding.
UKSOL supplied over 1612 units of 310W PV Modules for the Universiry of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital. (UMTH) In addition, there are 23 of 20KVA (20Kw) units of inverters distributed across 13 locations across the main hospital buildings converting the DC power to AC power that is distributed to the hospital mini grid.
University of Maiduguri, Nigeria
500kWp
360 Green Wash, Bolivia
10.74kWp
360 Green Wash in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia is an eco-friendly car wash powered by a 10.74 kWp on-grid solar PV system, utilizing UKSOL modules, a Fronius inverter, and Romangnole roof mounting. By integrating water-saving technology with solar energy, the facility significantly reduces water consumption, lowers operational costs, and minimizes carbon emissions, offering a sustainable alternative to traditional car washing.
Ribepar Group, Santa Cruz, Bolivia
31.2kWp
The Ribepar Group, a leader in substrate coating and paint distribution in Bolivia, has integrated a 31.2 kW On-Grid solar energy system into its operations. This advanced setup consists of 78 UKSOL 400W Half-Cell monocrystalline solar panels, coupled with a real-time monitoring system that provides insights into energy consumption and generation.
The VinUni Campus, Hanoi, Vietnam
On 27 August 2020, British Ambassador Gareth Ward visited VinUni, where a 200kW solar rooftop system powered by UKSOL 390W mono solar PV modules impressed him. The installation supports VinUni’s sustainability goals by reducing grid reliance, lowering carbon emissions, and benefiting from Vietnam’s continues solar to incentives.
200kWp
Mindanao, The Philippines
53kWp
Joash AR, in collaboration with UKSOL, successfully completed and oversaw the Sinobong Solar-Powered Water Pumping System Project in 2020. This 53kWp off-grid system delivers an impressive 300 cubic meters per hour, providing reliable and sustainable water access. The project stands as a testament to the potential of solar energy in enhancing infrastructure and improving community resources.
