UKSOL on the way to Bolivia
/As a result of UKSOL's participation in the British Week Trade Mission in Santa Cruz de la Sierra - Bolivia (South America) in March 2020, UKSOL sealed a strategic alliance with the signing of the exclusive distributor agreement with the company BOLPEGAS for the Bolivian territory.
The agreement was signed on 1st July 2020 despite difficulties caused by the COVID-19 virus.
This strategic alliance will allow both companies to develop together the photovoltaic solar energy market in Bolivia, a country that has a lot of growth potential.
Bolivia is one of the countries that receives the most solar radiation in the world. Two thirds of Bolivia have one of the highest levels of solar intensity on the planet, with a global horizontal irradiation (GHI) of 1,800 to 2,700 Kwh / m2-year.
Andrew Moore, the CEO of UKSOL, would like to thank BOLPEGAS for the opportunity to partner together and to thank the British Ambassador to Bolivia, Jeff Glekin and his team in La Paz, for organising a successful Trade Mission to Santa Cruz, just days before the virus lockdown started.
UKSOL solar PV modules will be arriving in Bolivia towards the end of August 2020.
